Das Besondere: Die Sektoren – zwischen 600 und 2300 Meter gelegen – haben alle ihren eigenen Charakter.
Typisch fürs Calancabouldern sind die zwei höheren Gebiete, wo man inmitten einer intakten Natur fernab von Strassen und Seilbahnen klettern kann (siehe Bild) – umgeben von einer Stille, die bloss gelegentlich vom Zwitschern der Vögel und vom Pfeifen des Winds unterbrochen wird.
